i've been back for an hour now. it was a great long weekend spent with my dad. went down to freo and then all the way down to margaret river and worked our way up. :D and guess what. i forgot to take photos! bleagh. my camera was in my bag and i forgot. wonderful. but it wasnt like there was much scenery to take anyway. nothing much to remember about the place.. but i had heaps of fun spending time with my dad. we talked alot and caught up with each other and everything. totally relaxing. cant remember the last time i spent so much time talking to my dad.. seems like ages ago, so this was really good.
went karaoke-ing at utopia in northbridge just now for 3 whole hours with nat, april, lisa and DEE! :D heeeheee. which accounts for my hoarse throat now :S but it was awesome!!! we totally went ga-ga over those chinese singers. hahhaa. and oh boy, every so often you'll hear an exclamation of "OH MY GOSH! HE'S SO CUTEEEEE!" (he refering to pan wei bo, zai zai, jerry yan, lin jun jie, guang liang, jay chou, and
HEAPS more.) although sometimes the occasional "EWWWW, he's SO ugly.. " (he refering to ken and vaness from F4) i tell you, just us 5 were worse than a crazy mob of star struck fans at a concert. quite embarrassing really. i wonder if anyone in the neighbouring rooms heard our crazy, out of tune screeching.. hehheh. although maybe not nat; she is after all the chamber choir girl. but all these 3 hours of candid moments for 9 bucks. quite worth it dont you think?
oh well. back to another 5 weeks of school before we break for 2 and a half weeks of holidays. and its going to be heaps of fun. :D there's the interhouse dance competition rehearsals, interhouse singing rehearsals, latin dance classes, the winter social at aquinas (thats a guy's school by the way, so THERE, all those people who think that there's something wrong with me just cos i've been in a girls school for 11 years of my life and i lack male companionship. NOT that anything's gonna happen at the social, i'm just stating that i'm NOT deprived of guys, or so a certain mr kwek thinks)
anyway, all in all its been an awesome long weekend. (: father-daughter brekkie at the country club tmr! how exciting. it better be good, considering we paid 50 aussie bucks for it after all. hmm. more updates tmr then :D
